12 Days of Christmas

The brief was to build a social campaign for the Christmas period. I have always been a fan of Apple’s 12 days of Christmas and thought we could translate the idea into a social campaign for Mpora. One of the key’s to the Apple campaign is that it starts on Boxing Day. A day when you feel you’ve over indulged, you’re a bit sluggish, bored and feeling guilty about getting frustrated with the extended family. What better than some ‘me time’ on the iPad, iPhone or FB? And free stuff, more presents on Boxing Day.

Over the course of the campaign, we increased our existing marketing database by about 1000% (yes it was small to start with), but the interesting fact is that the users entered on average 4.5 times, which exposed them to the brand and also generated awareness in the US, 40% of the entrants.
